Complete Construction Services - Dirt to Roof!
Complete Construction Services - Dirt to Roof!
Complete construction of your permitted home or small commercial building. We build your custom plan to specifications from the ground up. We pour walls and slabs, our crews frame, wrap, set windows and doors, do the roofing, the siding, the drywall, paint, and trim. We do everything under roof except mechanicals (plumbing, electrical and HVAC) but we have great providers for those services with whom we work.
As a General Contractor you know how much time and resources are wasted with you having to try and coordinate the 8-10 crews it requires to build a home. When one doesn't show up for a week or two it sets the entire project back for weeks. We handle everything from material delivery scheduling to ensuring the crews are onsite and insalling the materials in a timely and cost-saving manner. We even have runners who can go pickup additional materials when the salesmen has provided an incorrect take-off! Essentially, you turn the project over to us and that frees your schedule of hundreds or even thousands of hours per build. Our crews, our material or yours, and all you need to do is to follow the project, schedule the inspections, and maintain your great relationship with each of your customers while you go in search of additional projects.
A note about who we work with: We're selective in who we build for. If you've never built before or if you're relatively new to building we can help you - just be honest with us! The builders who get to the top of the list are easy to work with, pay on time, and don't wear us out. Changes are welcome, by the way!
We build dreams. More importantly, we build your dream. Before we accept the project we want to sit down with with everyone who will be involved in the project from a homeowner standpoint. We will help your project move smoothly and help you overcome those "freak out" moments that invariably do happen with construction projects.
DC Installations uses only the highest quality Fiber Cement siding products. The products we choose are backed by an industry leading manufacturer's warranty and installed by our seasoned professionals who are trained for the best installation purposes. They know how to use the materials to avoid undue waste and how to install the product so that it requires minimal dressing to make it look textbook perfect.
Fiber cement siding is durable, rot-proof, fire-proof, and termite-proof. It is unnafected by wind or cold and gives the appearance of other materials like wood clapboard, shingles, or even stone or brick. According to This Old House, "Now architects regularly specify the siding because it holds down costs without compromising aesthetics. It's even accepted for use in some historic districts."
Some designs call specifically for natural wood siding and DCI is well versed and experienced in natural wood siding. Many older homes in the North Georgia area were originally built using natural wood and many homeowners and real estate investors prefer to remove and replace the materials with what was originally used. The materials costs are somewhat higher than for fiber cement siding and labor costs vary with the type of wood siding being used.
There are many popular natural wood siding materials available on the market today from beveled cedar to log cabin siding board, from bead board to board and batton, and many types in between. Some siding is available in 4' x 8' sheets, such as bead board, and others come in 12' - 16' boards like log cabin siding or beveled cedar. There are also natural wood shingles which you may see used on many modern homes as an accent on the dormers or gables.
When speaking with a DCI representive make sure to ask about the advantages and disadvantages or natural wood siding versus fiber cement.
While not as popular as it once was, there are still applications which are perfect for vinyl siding. Available in a rainbow of colors, vinyl siding is still frequently used in both commercial and residential applications. Not all siding companies have the equipment and experience required to do vinyl siding right, but we do. Our siding installers are experienced and professional.
DC Installations is well known among builders in the Cobb, Cherokee, N Fulton, and Gwinnett areas as a "go-to expert" in concrete slabs, concrete walls, sidewalks, driveways, and patios. Now we're opening to the general public with exceptional quality, quick service, and affordable pricing on concrete replacement as well as new construction. From room additions to new garages, to drive and walkway replacements you can trust and depend on DCI to show up and complete the job on-time (providing the weather co-operates).
We do more than simply pour and brush when your project and budget call for it. Our custom died and stamped concrete work can emulate the appearance of bricks, pavers, or even natural stone. When you're looking to complement your home or other building with a professional look we can provide the level of design you're looking for. We like to say the concrete work (also called flat work) of your home or building is like the smile: it's what people see and experience when they first come to your home. So, like a great smile, a beautiful drive, parking area, and walkway really makes a good first impression.
Our standard pours include expantion joints and brushing as well as clean up when we leave. Many companies leave the form boards and overages for you to dispose of. We know you don't want to deal with a few hundred pounds of ugly concrete after we're gone! Many companies don't care--if they even take it away there is an extra charge.
Contact us and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.
